Swiftly Flow the Days

Three weeks away and much as changed.  Spring has snuck into Nordkapp.  To visitors traveling through, they may disagree.  The temperature hovers between 0º- 6º C (32º-45ºF), and snow covers a large portion of the ground.  But for those who live here, we can breath in the scent of damp soil and feel a hint of warmth in the breeze.

Just three and a half months ago I was counting the days until the sun would appear over the horizon again (Here comes the sun).  And now the countdown’s on until the sun doesn’t set for two months.  In just 12 days the midnight sun will grace us with its presence.

Here are the links to the livecams in Honningsvåg and at the Nordkapp Plateau.  So if you haven’t booked your tickets for this summer, you can get a sneak peek of the midnight sun.

Hi and back again. I hope your stay in Rome was great. I was in Copenhagen for a few days and enjoyed it really much. It is always amazing how fast the time is ticking away so that you now already can count the days for the midnattsol. 🙂

  3. Thanks for the webcam link. Amazing!!

Thanks for the webcam link. The views are beautiful and I can see where lots of your photos were taken. 🙂 Is that the same red boat ?

Not the same boat, but in the vicinity. I’m opening my gallery on the street along the harbor. It’s just out of view from the webcam. Hence the many photos from that area. All I have to do is step out my front door 🙂
